Here comes the eclipse, baby!
As if you didn’t know! As if you weren’t feeling it already!
Ok, perhaps you may be telling yourself you are not, but have you noticed that people seem to be living with their emotions a little closer to the surface these past few days? That’s all a part of eclipses. They bring emotions up, especially when it’s a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse, like the one we will welcome in just a few hours.
This first in the pair happens in the sign of Pisces. Illusions are being questioned. People are confronting the lies they tell themselves and the ways that they sabotage their best intentions. Because of a simultaneous conversation taking place between Mercury and Uranus, the emphasis on being free and true to us is heightened. Rapid changes are coming, if they haven’t already. Brilliant insights are to be had, and anything that stands in the way of absolute, authentic freedom of expression is being cut loose.
Rather dramatically, in fact.
Eclipses have a way of taking us off the path we were traveling, that comfortable path that we have settled for, and putting us on a more “fated” journey we were perhaps supposed to be on all along. How dramatically this eclipse will effect you is determined in large part by how far of course from your truest self you have gone.
Secrets tend to reveal themselves at a Full Moon eclipse. Considering this is a total eclipse, its’ power is magnified. It is as if what was hidden now becomes clear as light. It is cleansed in order to be considered and re-configured.
So what will you do with these newfound revelations?
How will allow the knowledge that presents itself to change you, heal you, and help you evolve and live a more fulfilling and genuine life?
Or do you plan on fighting it? Holding on to what is outworn and outmoded? Now that would be a shame.
Watching the eclipse can be a powerful event for it’s inherent symbolism. If you are in North or South America, you are likely to catch a view of the eclipse. For those on the East Coast, you should notice the time between 6-7am EST when the moon appears in shades of red or orange at sunrise. West-Coasters can catch the eclipse about 3 hours earlier, depending on time zone. Eastern Asia should see the action at around moonrise, depending on time zone.
How those lessons present them selves are unique to each of us individually, but each sign will be affected in a different way and the lessons will touch a different part of our lives.
If you were born within the first 10 days of your sign you will feel this eclipse most strongly, but we all will be affected by its influence.
