THE ANATOMY OF A DIVINATION:
PART 2 - THE ETHICS OF A READING
By Sa'ad Talia

So here’s our situation: you, the client, are available for at least an hour and a half, we are together at a quiet, peaceful location, fresh and rested, a decision for or against recording the session has been made.  I now speak of the ethics of a divination to set a tone.  It is necessary to verbalize these facts to ground us before the session begins.  These are points you should expect as part and parcel of your session.  Therefore

Confidentiality.   During and after a session, I will only discuss what I see with you.  If you choose, you may discuss the discoveries unveiled during a session to anyone you like, but as a diviner it is my responsibility to keep the contents of a session confidential.  Before a session I will always make note of this so you may be reassured.

Probability versus Possibility.  This is perhaps the most crucial service that I, as a diviner, render you.  I will advise you, “The past/present I see is fact and the predictions are probability”.  It is not possibility, in that some outside force will cause the foreseen future to come into existence.  You have to evolve beyond your current situation and into the correct mindset to help your future come to pass, and this therefore becomes probability.
Many believe the future is written and will occur without help or hindrance.  Not so.  We possess free will and, for the divined future to take form, we need to challenge ourselves and grow.  Many ask why a future foretold does not come into being (either in the timeframe, or as, the diviner foresaw) – it is because the client does not find it possible to grow fast or far enough, in the direction required or is mired in doubt and insecurity.

Honesty.  I will be totally honest about what I see and will state what I divine in the most appropriate manner.

Questioning.  You should ask only questions regarding clarification of information during the reading but should not query regarding your concerns.  If the session is proceeding normally, I will be distracted.  If I am unable to divine anything of substance, I will be encouraged to answer the questions without striving to complete the session.  When I am doing well, your concerns will all be addressed.  Questions on subjects not touched upon in, or as a result of, the reading are best kept till the end of the session.

Money back guarantee.  I tell you that, if you are not completely satisfied, you are entitled to a refund of your fee.

Follow-up readings.  I always advise my clients to not seek another reading from me within 30 days as decisions and changes brought about will show approximately 30 to 90 days after a reading.  This means we can discuss your initial reading for up to a week after it takes place, while the link you and I established is still fresh (more on this point in next month’s article – stay tuned!)

The actual reading now begins!
